Background:
Formed in 1957 following amalgamation of Bangor Collegiate School and Glenlola School; centrally located in Bangor, new 12m premises opened in 2003 to accommodate growing pupil intake. Aims to encourage 'acquisition of knowledge and the skills and wisdom to use it in appropriate ways and at appropriate times'. Pupils organised around flourishing house system within junior, middle and senior school structure. Extra-curricular programme comprises more than 30 activities, including Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and Combined Cadet Force. Proud of top gymnasts and active team of volunteers.
